Mike Pflieger has been with UW-Madison since 2001 and founded AIM in 2012 to meet emerging needs for efficiency, alignment, and information management. Mike sets priorities and oversees the primary functions of AIM and advises L&S leadership and departments on curriculum and policy and the assessment of student outcomes, partnering with campus units to improve information quality for operations and analysis.  He serves ex officio on the L&S Curriculum Committee and chairs the L&S admission review committee for recruited student athletes. He has presented nationally on degree auditing, transfer articulation, student mobility, academic policy reform, and academic technology innovation.  He is currently exploring the potential and challenges of AI-agency in academic and student services.
