In L&S, DARS is the document of record for undergraduate degree, major, and certificate completion. DARS is also used as an essential report for academic advising, student major selection, declaration requirements, data analysis, and NCAA eligibility.
AIM validates accuracy and approves degree audits encoded by the Office of the Registrar. We strive to ensure that:
- audits reflect the governance approved requirements of the program
- program requirements do not require heavy use of exceptions for student completion
- audits are conducive to academic advising and understandable by students
- audits are encoded in a method conductive to analysis and reporting
Please contact AIM with questions or concerns about an L&S DARS. We work in collaboration with the Encoding Team to resolve issues.
